Jason Schoener

A resident of California, who summers in Robin Hood, Maine, Jason Schoener studied at Cleveland Institute, the Arts Students League and received his M.A. in Fine Arts from Teachers College. Schoener’s paintings hang in the collections of the Cleveland Museum, the Whitney Museum and in private international collections.

Schoener paints what he feels about nature, rather than merely what he sees. Schoener says of himself, “Through a process of changing, shifting and sorting of visual elements, I attempt to recreate the subject and intensify my feeling about it.
